Find someone else's mail in your mailbox? Please take time to bring it to them, or write a note on it to the mail delivery person and drop it in the "outgoing mail" slot.
Please note that the HOA members and board appreciate personal efforts to maintain a tidy neighborhood.
See something, Say something: Although we live in a fairly safe neighborhood, there is always the chance that something nefarious might take place. Recently an individual was driving through the neighborhood asking unusual questions, making suspect comments and acting strangely. Several neighbors took appropriate action and reported it. Unfortunately our streets are a quick link to Tolman Creek Road, Clay Street and the Siskiyou School. If you think something should be brought to the attention of your neighbors, notify the board secretary and a "heads-up" email will be sent out.

R-U-Prepared?
Recent fires have increased awareness that we all need to be prepared for immediate evacuation in case of an emergency situation. Are you prepared? The following link provides a checklist to help you prepare. It is a Microsoft Word document which you can adjust for your particular needs.
SPECIAL NOTIFICATION FOR CCG RESIDENTS
We resumed removing and replacing some of our diseased trees in December. The city of Ashland and the city’s tree commission agreed that we can remove the trees requested. but we cannot remove more than 50% of the trees in a year. Seven more will be removed now. The replacement trees will have time to acclimate before the summer heat arrives.
This is part of the previous special assessment payments that enable us to continue with this project.
As with previous tree removals, please be aware that due to the dangerous activity in the vicinity of selected trees on the given dates, insure that all children are kept away from the areas, cars are parked in other locations, and you are aware that portions of the streets may be blocked so alternate routes may be necessary.

The Clay Creek Gardens HOA is dedicated to creating a great Ashland neighborhood characterized by architecturally distinctive homes, beautiful open spaces and neighbors that know and support each other. For some of us that have lived here awhile we think of it as a new "old school" neighborhood reminiscent of the neighborhoods in which we grew up.

The Clay Creek Gardens HOA relies on the volunteer involvement of its members -- to serve in leadership positions and on committees, to participate in biannual work parties and to get the word out about HOA events and activities. We encourage you to get involved and become active in your community.
